A fundraiser to benefit families of people with cancer.
The 2022 event is dedicated to the memory of Bill Besley, who died Nov. 24, 2018.
All proceeds will be donated to the SCOA Cares Foundation. SCOA Cares provides financial assistance to cancer patients receiving treatment at South Carolina Oncology Associates, the only comprehensive cancer treatment center in South Carolina. The inaugural Smash Cancer tournament raised $30,000 for SCOA Cares.
Jonathan Bankhead lost his 15-month battle against glioblastoma January 12, 2020.
